This is the climax chapter for Volume 2! I have a few reveals in this chapter I can't wait to post. The cover features Maris in her bedroom, which isn't as messy as it usually would be. I picture her as being like I was at 22-- my clothes were all over the place, CDs on the floor, makeup scattered, and even if there was furniture I was usually sitting on the floor. I drew a boombox and big headphones and a CD because I tend to not draw a lot of modern devices in this comic, if you haven't noticed. A boombox adds more to a scene than a smartphone and earbuds, anyway. I miss my old boombox...

Maris is normally sloppier, but I wanted this to be a quiet moment where she's in her pajamas watching the rain hit her bedroom window, so I wanted to avoid too much clutter. The calm before the storm...

This is truly fantastic work! The level of detailing and screentone usage here is phenomenal, along with that angle from outside the room.

Also, absolutely love that each chapter of FaLLEN references a heavy metal song :) You've definitely picked from the best with Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Skid Row, and even Queensryche! Honestly, any comic/manga that references Operation: Mindcrime, or *any* early Queensryche, is an automatic masterwork in my book!
