I want to thank all the super cool people who tried to cheer me up or gave me suggestions with the last post about Inkblazers closing. You guys are super sweet, or super funny and that helps make me forget I hate this year. 2015, let's go go go!

Since Inkblazers is closing I moved my stuff to a new site.

Here's what you can get on the Storenvy page:

  • B3 poster
  • A6 postcards (up to 8 designs)
  • charms of Maris, Vesta, and Vox (very limited, will be available again soon)
  • iPhone 5 phone case
  • FaLLEN vol. 1 (English or Japanese) pre-orders
Yup, I'm allowing pre-orders for FaLLEN vol. 1. Right now the books are available at $12.50 a book in either Japanese or English, and if you pre-order now you get a free postcard included with your order. I'm doing pre-orders so I can have a better estimate for my print run, though I'm guessing a lot of people already got a copy pre-ordered with the Kickstarter.

With charms... I'm waiting to hear back from people on the Kickstarter. I ran out of Lamia and Arma charms and had to ask two people to change their order, so once I know what they want I will open up orders for Maris, Vesta, and Vox, who also have really limited numbers. I will probably make more but the price may go up since I'll be using a different company, so if you want one of the limited-edition first run charms, this is probably going to be your last chance.

Yeah, the iPhone case is expensive, haha. But it looks so cool @_@

Posters and Postcards are totally ready to go, so if you order now I can probably ship them to you next week after the New Year holiday is over. If you pledged on the Kickstarter, make sure you aren't already getting some of these things in your order!

About Patreon:

Yup, I'm gonna do it. I'm going to set it up in January and it will go live February 2nd. I'm only doing three tiers; $1, $3, and $5, because I want to encourage more people to donate so that people can get more for less, so this will be a milestone-heavy Patreon campaign. Behind the scenes stuff, WIPs, articles on making comics, advanced viewings of pages, and kind of an experimental blog that will be written as if the characters are writing the blog themselves. I think it will amuse me, at least. Milestones will include me drawing more pages, doing video tutorials and manga reviews from a creator's POV, and other stuff.  So thanks to everyone who suggested it. I'm not expecting much but I do like the idea of doing blogs and staying connected a little more.

Rather than relying on established brands like Inkblazers or Tapastic or whatever, I'm going to focus on branding, uh, myself? Which I hate doing but I think I need to go that route if I want to get anywhere next year. So Patreon is a start, I think.

And you know what I found today? I found a bunch of old photos of thin me from my party girl days. Photos included me singing karaoke with a bunch of naked guys, me posing over a drunk '80s rocker guy who passed out on the street, me from my metal band days experimenting with hair and makeup (I drew a dragon going from my cheek to my neck... with eyeliner), and a bunch of photos of friends I don't like anymore. I laughed and mentally hopped in a Delorean and traveled back to the year 2006. That year was awesome.

EDIT:

And because I was asked, why not? Photo time. Tiny because technology made cell phone cameras limited at the time.

<--- for comparison, without scary makeup.

Ah, to be young again.

Young again? But you just became old enough to buy cigarettes for uncle Joe.
