Personal Shopper.
Is there something you really want in Japan, but it's overly expensive on foreign shops or on ebay? Anime goods? JPop CDs? Japanese-only games? Disney merch? Pokemon toys? Figures? Well, I will buy it for you. I will buy it for you, ship it to you, and I will charge you the cost of the item + shipping + a handler's fee. I will charge 30% extra for my handler's fee. So if you want a Blu-ray disc that is ¥5200 including shipping, I will charge an additional ¥1560 for my services. For something cheaper, like a ¥1600 CD with shipping, I will charge an additional ¥480. I think that is still cheaper than a lot of ebay sites. Please note I'm using yen, so if you choose to pay with American dollars on paypal be aware that the conversion is US $1 = ¥ 80.7750.

I'll basically buy anything except for weapons or anything illegal-- if you want adult goods I need some proof of ID (driver's license matches paypal account info). Could be pokemon merchandise, could be Disney character goods, could be DVDs or games or whatever. I'm really good at finding things online at cheap prices, too, if you only know the name or description of something.

I don't mind searching for one or two things, but please don't send me a great big list of series you like unless you are positive you are going to be buying at least most of what you ask for. Don't be like "I like Naruto, get me Naruto stuff" because there is a TON of Naruto stuff. Specify with "I like Naruto soundtracks, get me Naruto soundtracks", or better yet find specifically which soundtrack you'd like and that would be a big help (I'm not charging for my time, like most personal shoppers do, and when I just get a series name I will end up spending a lot of time doing quotations when in the end maybe only end up ordering one item).

Also... SHIPPING. I've had lots of cancellations because people were surprised that it's expensive to ship. I can usually get items for really cheap from used dealers, but shipping is going to be expensive, and the more you order at once the more expensive it will get. Books are more expensive to send than DVDs and CDs. It's based on weight, not physical size, so be prepared to possibly pay $20 for shipping alone if you order more than one thing at a time. Sometimes cheaper economy shipping is available, but sometimes it's not.
