CONGRATULATIONS!!
2014's G.M.I. Awards utterly-ECLIPSED the previous showing in terms of scale, with an unprecedented 42,942 votes in-total! Several series clocked-in at over 100 votes, with campaigns running across major social-networks such as Facebook, deviantart and Twitter bringing the top-ranking entries into the 10K range! We're very proud of each and every competitor for their hard work and dedication.

What really blew me away, though, was seeing the number of votes I got. Over 700 votes for FaLLEN! That's more than I got last year, when FaLLEN took 1st place!
Amazing. Like... wow.
Maybe I didn't win first or second place, but knowing what I know, it makes me really proud to see that number. I know those votes were from fans of FaLLEN, from people who support me, and I got those votes with the merit of my work. I'm really glad to see the voting system is changing for next year.

I am going to do some thank you artwork in March to show my appreciation with FaLLEN characters. Last year I drew Arma and Lamia dressed in Slayers cosplay... I kinda wanted to keep that theme this year. Anyone want to make a suggestion for FaLLEN characters in other anime/game/manga cosplay?
BUT... the artwork will not be drawn until I am finished with this gift artwork! So far I am nearly finished with the 1st Place Winner's gift art and chibi, then I'll have two more. It's getting there, slow and steady.
I've got more good news... FaLLEN's Patreon hit its first milestone!! (and a little sooner than expected, eheheheh...)
This means people can get early access to FaLLEN pages!!
Or at least it would but I am still catching up.. since I'm also working on gift art and the book and Kickstarter rewards, things are slow right now. Give me a few more weeks to catch up.
Meanwhile, I am going to be posting a brand-new FaLLEN wallpaper to Patreon for all tiers in the next few days that will feature a little spoiler in it ;D The wallpaper won't be released publicly for several months, so this, at least, will be early access, haha. I may add wallpapers as a bonus gift to all tiers from time to time.

There are some behind-the-scenes stuff as well, and I'll be adding more really stupid doodles and such this week. And later today, Lamia is going to write the horoscopes for the week, yee-haw. (Earlier this week Vesta taught everyone how to make mayonnaise at home... based on true events!!)

Marriage Advice: If you have been secretly stashing overdue bills so your wife doesn't see them, you should probably stop that right now.
Trust me. TRUST ME. If your wife is smart and awesome (and charming and beautiful and makes great mayonnaise) she will help you. Even if you choose to spend your money on concert tickets instead of paying overdue bills from a city you no longer live in. Because she LUFFS you and might just be better than you at life in general.

Kickstarter Update coming this week. I am pretty sure this project is cursed. I am definitely DEFINITELY spending the extra money to get a sample of the books printed before I do a mass printing, because OMG SRSLY. (more on that later)
Con Update: I'll be in the midwest this summer for sure. Two cons are confirmed, one is semi-confirmed, one is up in the air.
Going in geographical order, haha, I might be doing cons in Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas this July.
Mostly FaLLEN stuff, but I will be selling prints of old and new fan art, including Bakuretsu Hunter, Sailor Moon, and probably Death Parade because I am obsessed with this new series. Go watch it if you like slow-moving plots and intrigue... and support the band Noisy Cell who does the ending theme! My husband used to play bass with them before they hit it big, and that drummer has spent the night at our home before, haha. He's the only member I know semi personally, he and my husband go way back. We used to watch boxing matches together
