Comic Market 82
For those of you who don't know (mostly all of you), I've hit a bit of a rough patch in my life lately with some kind of major stuff hitting me all at once. I'll spare you all the details, but at least one good thing happened.
and I got our table request accepted for Comic Market 82 in August, and it will be both of our first times selling there (and it will be my first time even going to Comiket...
). So that's nice. We'll be in the East hall in Block E at table 48a on Sunday (8/12) so if you'll be in Tokyo swing on by ^_^ We'll have our full-color fan art art book, he'll have some posters available, and I'll be selling Suicide Consultant. I keep putting off taking it to an editor for various reasons, but I think I'll wait until after Comic Market and Tokyo In Tulsa so I don't get even more stressed out.
Been working on a lot of art, but most of it I can't post here until these events are over (or I won't post them here at all because they are floor plans for fictional homes of fictional characters, and who wants to see that?). Also been working on my brand-new website, which will be up sometime before July and will be the host of FaLLEN as a webcomic. I'll have 1-2 pages posted every week on Fridays and we'll just go from there. The site will be bilingual for Japanese and English speakers, and will be limited on content at first since I don't want to post character bios and such until characters get introduced, etc. I'll let you all know once I've got the site up and running.
I used to be good at designing websites but that was before CSS became the model, so I've had to reteach myself a lot of things. I really like making things though, doesn't matter what usually, so I'm starting to enjoy doing it again. When this is all over I want to make a bookshelf. I know, random.
Here's hoping the bad stuff going on will be solved and in a few weeks I will have a happy message to post instead of a sad-face story. Though now I know if I'm crying and upset, the only one in my home who will adequately comfort me is my flippin' parrot. He was all "You okay? Hey, you okay?" (literally, because he can kind of talk) and came up to me and licked my tears. Best $9 I ever spent. And where were YOU, dog and husband? Sheesh.
