Tokyo In Tulsa - Charity Ball 2015

Originally drew this in March of this year. Now that Tokyo In Tulsa 2015 is over I feel like it's okay to post this here. I was asked to do artwork for the charity ball with the theme of kaiju vs mecha, which are two things I don't often draw. I was asked to have dancers with masks on, which was also kind of hard. I was also given just a little over a month when I was really really busy, haha. So if things seem off you are absolutely right, they are off. Oh, perspective Sorry TnT.

The con went really well, though. I had a fantastic time and met a lot of cool people, and the staff themselves were totally amazing and caring and I felt like I was a part of their family that weekend. Absolutely plan on going back again next year.

I am still super behind on messages, notes, etc. Not much time to look at dA and respond to emails and things, but I will do that once San Japan is over this weekend and once I am back home in Japan. I'll have a full con report ready to go and I plan on ranking all the hotels, too, haha. I ate a lot of room service!

If you are following me on Patreon, I am going to be posting a bunch of sketch diary posts this weekend. I've been drawing, but I've had trouble with Patreon this month. It sounds like they may have fixed some of their issues recently, though.


BTW, I used some premade buildings for this. I thought they were in my favorites but they apparently aren't! So once I figure out my sources for these I will post them here. I know it's someone on dA... if anyone happens to know the source, let me know.
