Happy New Year 2016

For Patreon, if you are on the $15 tier or higher you get a postcard I send out around New Year's featuring my FaLLEN characters in a New Year's greeting card utilizing the Chinese zodiac as a theme somehow. These aren't supposed to be masterpieces or anything, just something quick and fun I can do to thank my Patrons. 

I realized, though, that 2016 is the year of the monkey... which is my least favorite animal on the zodiac. I hate monkeys XD I have actually had weird run-ins with monkeys 4-5 times in my life. The "nihonzaru", or Japanese macaque as I think it's called in English, is often seen in hot springs. But rather than draw one of those monsters (example of my most tragic past: in 7th grade, a Japanese macaque jumped on my face and bit me right next to my eye and wouldn't let go as I ran around the room crying, which left a scar until I was an adult), I decided to have my FaLLEN characters dress up as Saiyuuki / Journey To The West characters, since Son Gokuu (not DBZ) is a monkey king and all.

I didn't really use references for this very closely, so the line between Chinese/Japanese/lazy imagination is very blurred, so probably everyone of Japanese or Chinese descent is looking at this and rolling their eyes. I know, I know.
