Gerard - Bittersweet Memories

I named it after a BFMV song because is obsessed with them

This is her character Gerard. Since I'm in an experimental mood, I decided to try to mimic 's semi messy style for this prize pic she won when she got Honorary Mention in my FaLLEN Art Contest in February. Well... the line art was actually really great, but I made the mistake of using a really slick paper that made my markers act almost like watercolors! So I went with it, though I added an effect in Photoshop to the background because the original version was a bit too messy.

I might end up uploading the inked line art separate because I liked it quite a bit. Ah well, now I know never to use that paper again.
