Don't Give A Puck

This took WAY too long to get finished, but this year has been... hoo-boy. asked me to draw her character Puck and his familiar for a book she was working on, and though she asked me this summer, I didn't have any time to really get to work on this until this month, and then this month suddenly became way more packed with things than I had anticipated. I am not sure I made her deadline, but if I didn't I hope she can enjoy this as fan art.

I made some slight changes to these two characters to fit my style a little more, and because my desktop wallpaper is a really great DOGS wallpaper by Chloe-chan, I wanted to kind of reflect the dynamic crazy-wrong perspective and grungy background she used. So it's half inspired by Miwa Shirow and half inspired by whoever Chloe-chan is. I got the wallpaper at minitokyo.net under the DOGS section... I think. Great art, but I can't get into the story...

I have to say, I love this little rodent thing. Mary, did you make stuffed animals of him? I think he's my favorite!

I know the perspective is wonky. I thought it looked cool at the time... I dunno, I kinda still do
